Palace of Fine Arts at Night

July 26, 2017  •  Leave a Comment

One of the most iconic structures in San Francisco, the Palace of Fine Arts was built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in order to exhibit works of art presented there. It is reminiscent of Roman ruins and is favorite home and layover for a variety of birds, including swans and Great Blue Herons. It is especially striking and luminous at night.
